The SONGWRITER KIT (Virtual Drum Kit + Samples)
The SONGWRITER KIT is a virtual drum kit designed primarily to inspire songwriters as they demo songs that are on the “chill” end of the genre spectrum. However, the kit can easily be used as your final production drums for release. Your download includes presets for:

*IMPORTANT: If you are a Kontakt user, you must own the FULL version of Kontakt for this kit. If you only have Kontakt Player, the Songwriter Kit will only function as a demo.

The SONGWRITER KIT was made using a Gardner Custom kick and toms—a 24” kick, 16” floor tom, and 13” rack tom; a Ludwig 6.5 x 14” Classic Maple snare; Dream Bliss 15” Hi Hat, Dream Bliss 19” Crash, and Dream Vintage Bliss 22” Crash Ride.
The kit was mic’d with the Glyn Johns method + a 57 on snare—AEA R44CE on the front of the kit and a pair of Coles 4038s on the top and side of the kit. It was then tastefully mixed through a Trident 88 console, with a gentle hug from an API 2500+ compressor.
